Another simple BACK SAVING tip if you suffer with lower back pain/stiffness (and good practice even if you don’t!) is to sleep with a pillow between your knees if you sleep on your side (helps to support your spine, pelvis and hips in good alignment). Alternatively, if you sleep on your back try placing a pillow or 2 underneath the knees (slightly raising & supporting the knees lessens the load on the lower back and again helps maintain good alignment of the pelvis and spine).
